Kickit Recap Of 2020 United Soccer Coaches Convention Baltimore
What a week! Chief Kickitier Eli here reporting from our home base in Chicago after a remarkable week in Baltimore!
After spending 4 days in the city of Baltimore interacting with over 14,000 coaches and soccer organizations, I can confidently say, we are one of the most innovative companies out there today! This feedback came from the likes of US soccer legend Brandi Chastain, the United Soccer Coaches Past and Current Presidents, and hundreds more that visited our booth!
We got to share our new Kickit game, where Soccer Meets Badminton, with so many great people in the soccer world. This includes juggling with DC United players and also a top MLS player Quincy Amarikwa!
During the event, we were invited to present our innovative new game on the international stage at IPSO where the likes of GoPro, Nixon, Maloja and many more global companies got their international exposure. In addition to this we have been invited to an all new Soccer Con event in Las Vegas where global icons like Pelé will be seen along with every major tournament trophy in the soccer history books!
With these events on the horizon, 2020 is shaping up to be one to remember! If you're reading this and thinking to yourself... Our mission is to inspire our younger generations to engage and continue to play the worlds game (soccer) through the lens of an innovative soccer inspired sport, Kickit.
Today, soccer is the #1 entry level sport in the United States and has been for 10 years. This means that virtually everyone starts out playing on a soccer field, but the crisis is that once kids are reaching the ages of 12-14 they go to other sports! There is a huge drop off in this age range in the US and we believe Kickit is the solution.
Kickit was "the most entertaining new game" seen at the convention (Director of Player Development at South Central Premier Soccer Club). Young players need new ways to experience soccer that is designed to be fun and to also present them with new technical challenges.
